List of Restaurants I'd like to try

I can't upload any pics... Boo! crappy internet connection. =(

Oh well... Let me just make a list of restos i'd like to try. Maybe we'll see each other there someday.

Ps. Wave and say Hi! if you see me. =)

1) Borough
Ground Floor, The Podium Mall (beside Gloria Maris)
Ortigas Center, Pasig City
Open 24/7, Borough takes American comfort food favorites and serves them in a laid-back, loft-style space inspired by New York's artsy Brooklyn neighborhood.  Imma try:
Chocolate Chicken Wings; Rothko Caesar Salad; Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup and Milk and Cookies. =)

2) 2nd's
Bonifacio High Street
2/F Wumaco Building
Quadrant 3, Bonifacio Hight Street
9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City,Taguig City
The menu is weighted with western comfort classics that sit comfortably on the menu next to updated dishes with Filipino taste profiles. And while this may not be the place you come to for a gastronomic epiphany, the range of choice is hardly run of the mill.  A word to the wise: meals at 2nd's tend to be of the heart-stopping kind, and I am convinced that is where perennial dieters like me come to cheat. Imma try:
Truffled Three Cheese Mac; Bacon Chicharon; and  Chicken Adobo Croquetas.

3) Chocolate Fire

G/F PDCP Building Leviste Street corner Rufino Street, Salcedo Village
Makati City
Tel. Nos.: 840-3473, (0920) 605-8692
Business Hours: 11 a.m. - 9 p.m
Imma try: Any pasta with chocy and any chocy

4) Bellini's

Marikina Shoe Expo 68-69 General Romulo Street, Araneta Center Cubao
Quezon City
(02) 913-2550
Features: Lunch, Dinner, Caters, smoking area, live entertainment
Business Hours: 11:00 AM-11:00 PM

5)
Melo’s Steak Restaurant: Home of Certified Angus Beef and Authentic Wagyu Beef

RESERVATIONS
Alabang:  771-2288 & 771-3945
Makati:  899-2456 & 899-9403

Fort Bonifacio:  403-5969 & 403-5969

Miss Bs tuckshop

After my relentless efforts of convincing my Aunt that we try out Miss B's tuckshop, she finally gave in! I'm so irresistible! haha

So here's the deal:

The store front.  It's not that easy to spot so you gotta know what you're looking for.
IMG_8169
This is what it looks like inside. I like the semi-finished interior design with the preschool-like tables and chairs. I  feel I can be my clumsy-8 year old self here... Yes, I'm childish! =P
IMG_8174
The menu is written on a long greenboard. So if you're seated at the far end tables, you gotta stand and walk over to the other side to read.

While waiting, I admired the simplicity of the resto- from the interiors to the kobyertos - to their cooking style.
IMG_8167
We ordered the Roasted Marshmallow Shake which my Aunt and I split in half. I wanted to try the Red Velvet but I had to compromise since my Aunt was the one paying... =)
IMG_8171
I got one of their BEST SELLERS-MUST TRY which is the BEEF BURGER. It's truly delectable! =)
IMG_8168
I had the burger paired with Cajun fries. It's not something I'd come back for since it came out too oily for me but I still finished it. =)
IMG_8170
My Aunt was supposed to order the Crispy Pork Confit but it was out of stock so she settled with the Pulled Pork instead. Sorry but I didn't like this... It had raw onions in it.
IMG_8173
This is the S&V (salt & vinegar) chips my Aunt paired with the  Pulled Pork.  She would've wanted the Pomme Dauphines but it was again out of stock. Oh well... Like the cajun fries, I found the chips too oily and I didn't quite taste the vinegar in it. If I were to choose between the fries and the chips, I'd go for the fries.

And last but not the least, I made sure I had room for dessert. We ordered Calamansi Beignet. It's actually my first time to eat a beignet so I didn't have a standard for it... It was alright. Not something I'd rave about but it was worth the try... Still found it too oily.

Less than 1k!! I should've ordered more!!! FAIL. =P

I took a photo of the CR door. CUTE! =P
PS. I think my tastebuds are evolving. It prefers "healthy" foods nowadays.... Hmmmm..... I don't know if this is good or not......
Ever since I got back from Singapore, my liking for kaya toast and brewed coffee resurfaced. I had cravings for toast, wet and runny eggs and coffee at the most unusual times and at the most unusual places. It was a good thing NAIA2 had a Ya Kun Kaya Toast shop at the waiting area. Here's my quick fix:
