Another day at Mercato

Last 05 November 2011 I revisited Mercato tagging along 2 of my friends.

One friend ordered liempo with rice. The pork was really good and the serving was big enough for 2 cups of rice.

I saw a new milk tea store so I tried it. - uhmmm... I've had better.

The isaw was not a hit among us. Only one friend liked it.

And this kebab was also not a hit. I was the only one who raved about the meat being juicy.

And this I got. I like lengua and although I finished the entire meal, I found the taste to be too salty.

Oh and there was a new store... a roti store at that!

So we tried it. We loved the Roti Canai - plain roti with some sort of curry dip. It was really good! We also got Chunky monkey - roti with peanut butter and banana. 

Mom and Tina's Revisited

Ever since my Aunt introduced me to Mom and Tina's, it has sort of been a favorite comfort food resto. So when my other Aunt said she'll be treating us there, it was a no-brainer decision for me.

Ceasar salad - my healthy Aunts ordered this. Didn't taste it. I didn't feel like being a rabbit this day.

Paella - It had lotsa meat stuff in it. A meal by itself. We shared it but I think I was the one who cleaned the plate. =P

Beef stew - My Aunt was I think craving for this that's why she treated us here.

Chicken Relleno - Although it looks a bit bland, it was surprisingly good and flavorful. =)

Lengua and mashed potatoes - MY order. Besides craving for both, I just wanted to piss-off my Aunt (all 'cause she hates lengua!). =P hahaha

I so love this Blue Lemonade!

Aunt's regular Iced Tea - so boring =P

I made sure I still had room for dessert. =) We got a sort of Mango Pie.  It was heavenly. Period.
