Enter YAKIMIX

Lately, I'm into the buffet concept of dining. This was my first encounter with Yakimix at Greenbelt.

The line of people waiting to be seated. PS. Make sure to reserve a table or go to the resto early for sure seats.

There is a smokeless grill on each table where you could cook these. Just ask one of the waiters to turn it on for you.

I ate as many shrimp tempura as I could.

Too bad I had no more room left for cakes, cupcakes, candies... I settled for this popsicle for dessert.

I miss Starbucks PepperMINTCHOCO stuffs

I've already said that I'm a sucker for chocos. But it's really MINT that I would cry for! =P

Ersao

One December night when my buddy and I were out of our comfort zones buying Christmas stuffs, we came across Ersao at West Avenue. I already read about it so I was pretty confident that we could at least order the pearl drinks if we didn't like the food.

Ersao at West Ave is quite a big branch.

It's a Taiwanese Resto with a fastfood ambiance. I liked the fact that it was well-lit compared to the other restos beside it.

Here's what we ordered:

Photo4612
I think this is chicken noodles

Photo4608
I think this is some sort of complete machang -- 7 Treasures Maching (?)

Photo4606
I think this is pig's ears

Photo4605
I think this is tofu

Photo4604
Ofcourse I ordered PEARL MILK TEA! =P

Also loved the fact that food prices are budget-friendly. Whenever I dine with this particular buddy, we usually end up spending Php500 up each! So we had a bit of a laugh when we only paid Php400 for our entire meal. That's Php200 each - the lowest we've gone so far. =P

Teriyaki Boy

I often pass-by Teriyaki Boy at Gateway and I always see the picture of their froyo (Yogato) in front.

So one afternoon, I convinced my colleague to try it with me. I was already set on tryin it but at the end of our meal, we ended up not ordering it anymore. hahaha... There's always a next time!

So anyway, here's what we ordered:

I really liked this. Must try if you ever dine at Teriyaki Boy.

I've always wanted to try cold noodles ever since I saw it on tv. You get a chopstick full of the noodles and dip it on the sauce. The noodles did not have any taste. It was bland. While the sauce tasted like tempura sauce. This was actually my first time to taste it and it did not disappoint. I loved it with the Tuna Tartare. They go really well together.

I liked the paper placemats of Teriyaki Boy. It's cool! The design varies. My colleague had a different drawing on it but I was not able to take a picture of it.

Ps. I will try these next time...

My Patchi Encounter

I'm a sucker for sweets! So when I heard about Patchi opening at High Street, I already listed it as one of my TTDs (Things To Do). It just so happened that I was with my aunts one evening and we happen to pass-by the Patchi store! Yeebbbaaaah!!!
