Sagada: Bus Food

Just to show you how much of a fan of Sagada's yoghurt/yogurt I am, this is what I bought at the stopover on our way back to Baguio.

 I am a yoghurt hardcore fanatic.

Oh and I partnered it with balut...
Note to self: They don't go well together. =P

Sagada: Breakfast at Masferre

Having heard of Masferre from her friends, my friend didn't want to pass-up the chance to try the "best pancakes" of Masferre herself. So on our last day, we had these for breakfast:

We both ordered coffee. I think pancakes goes better with coffee than tea.

Ham with cheese, egg, and lettuce sandwich - There are times when I just don't know how my crazy friend thinks. She tells me that we should eat at Masferre for the pancakes, then she orders a sandwich! Geeez.

As for me, of course I ordered the House Specialty - I think it was called the Farmer's meal or something. Anyway, it came with 3 pancakes (Ps. Menu says they make their own pancake batter. =P), bacon, fried banana and veggie garnish. It was homey-good! 

And of course we ordered fresh yoghurt to finish our meal! Plain yoghurt for me friend.

All-star yoghurt for me. =P Well I ordered yoghurt with fresh fruits in season - it came with banana and papaya tidbits. I still prefer the yoghurts from Yoghurt house and Rock Inn Cafe.

Sagada: Bana's Resto

On my last night in Sagada, I didn't want to easily give up the craving for yoghurt...

On the way back to the lodge, I spotted a resto still open and braved up to ask if they had yoghurt... 

And they did have!

It was my life-saver for the night.

I ordered it plain with honey. It wasn't as good as those I've tried from the other restos but it was a good fix to satisfy my late last night craving. =) Ps. The honey was good! =P

SAGADA: Rock Inn & Cafe

After orange picking came the well-deserved breakfast. I so love the place, the ambiance, and of course, the fooood!

The Orchard and Cafe is not along the road thus you could easily pass it. You'd have to  look out for this sign so you won't get lost.

I like the place. It reminds me of an American film where country folks gather for a community meeting.  It's the perfect venue for such occasions.

I conquered Sagada last month and I'm happy to share my super awesome local foodie finds. =)


First up is the first foodie house I was dying to try... that at 2100H, I still insisted that we try it out.
