Sagada: Gabay Fruit Wines

There's a local wine store that sells organic wines. It's a pasalubong slash mini cafe. We weren't able to try it though. Just wanted to show you that there's one in Sagada and here's what the facade looks like.

Sagada: Bana's Resto

On my last night in Sagada, I didn't want to easily give up the craving for yoghurt...

On the way back to the lodge, I spotted a resto still open and braved up to ask if they had yoghurt...

And they did have!

It was my life-saver for the night.

I ordered it plain with honey. It wasn't as good as those I've tried from the other restos but it was a good fix to satisfy my late last night craving. =) Ps. The honey was good! =P

Sagada: Lemon Pie House

It was already around 1500H and we just got out of the caves. We didn't have much time to spare but I insisted that we still eat here.

The yellow house can be easily spotted and one can't go wrong that it is indeed the Lemon Pie House you are entering...

I wonder why there were Korean characters on the board. I guess there are also lots of Korean nationals in Sagada.

SAGADA: Rock Inn & Cafe

After orange picking came the well-deserved breakfast. I so love the place, the ambiance, and of course, the fooood!

The Orchard and Cafe is not along the road thus you could easily pass it. You'd have to look out for this sign so you won't get lost.

I like the place. It reminds me of an American film where country folks gather for a community meeting. It's the perfect venue for such occasions.

Sagada: Orange Picking

Okay, this maybe a far cry but oranges still fall under the food category so I'm posting this here.

We woke up early to watch the sunrise and then we proceeded to pick some oranges... which turns out to be color green. I wonder why they call it orange when the color is clearly green...

SAGADA: Pinikpikan Haus

Before heading for the Yoghurt House, we first got some good authentic-to-the-bones "pinikpikan" to fill our hungry tummys. It's also good for warming up 'cause it does get cold up there.

Store front - you'd have to go down some flight of stairs but you won't miss it as they are quite known for their "especialty"
